Y.I.H. Aikido Dojo

Located within the compound of the Yangon International Hotel, the Y.I.H. dojo is convieniently located in Yangon, just a 10 min. walk from the from the famous "Shwe Dagon Pagoda". The Y.I.H. dojo is the largest Aikido dojo in Myanmar, with a total matted training area of 180 squar meters.
 
The Y.I.H. Aikido Dojo is sponsored by the Yangon International Hotel. It is operated under the guidance of Inagaki Sensei (7th dan Aiki-kai), Ohasi Sensei (4th dan Aiki-kai), and Onodera Sensei (3rd dan Aiki-kai).

The Aikido practided at the Y.I.H. Aikido Dojo follows the teachings of the late Morihiro Saito Sensei, 9th dan, Chief Instructor of the Iwama Dojo, Japan. Saito Sensei was O Sensei's closest student and faithfully preserved the teachings of the founder.

All local instructors are certified by the Aikido World Headquarters (Hombu Dojo) in Japan.

In addition to regular trainings with visiting Japanese teachers, the instructors have also done extended intensive training in Japan.
